What's does it mean when it says behold I come quickly and how come it don't really seems like he's coming quickly? It's been a long time 2000+ years

Shortly is the ancient Greek phrase en tachei, which means " 'quickly or suddenly coming to pass,' indicating rapidity of execution after the beginning takes place. The idea is not that the event may occur soon, but that when it does, it will be sudden." (Walvoord)

If I'm not mistaken, we get our word TACHOMETER from that Greek word "en tachei".
Revolutions per Minute. How fast the motor is running. Not the speed of the car.
So, it would be just as you said. When it comes, it will be QUICKLY, not HOW SOON it will happen!
